Success is when we all pull together – collaboration along the value chain
At EPDA, collaboration is where innovation begins.
This inspiring project, which was first presented at the Forward Festival in Berlin, brings together our industrial partner, KURZ, and our member, WIN Creating Images. It’s a shining example of how creative connections formed within the EPDA community can lead to outstanding real-world outcomes.
What started as a chance meeting at an EPDA conference evolved into an extraordinary exploration of how digital imagination and material craftsmanship can come together to create something unique.
WIN Creating Images
When AI meets material craftsmanship.
For this year’s Forward Festival Berlin, we had the pleasure of collaborating with KURZ, exploring how generative AI and embellishment can merge into something truly unexpected.
It’s always a special kind of magic when disciplines meet — when digital artistry and tactile design inspire each other, challenging what’s possible in visual storytelling. Together, we created motifs born in the digital realm and brought them to life through KURZ’s exceptional surface finishes — turning imagination into something you can actually touch.
Working across disciplines like this reminds us how much innovation thrives at the intersection of ideas — where technology meets craft, and experimentation meets precision.
A big thank-you to the amazing team at KURZ for this inspiring collaboration and for showcasing what happens when creative worlds collide.

When ideas are born together …
A fantastic project that emerged from the collaboration between Julia from KURZ and Tim & Sascha from WIN Creating Images: a series of digitally embellished posters, first presented at the Forward Festival in Berlin.
The motifs were conceived at WIN’s studio, guided by creative vision and supported by AI-generated ideas. The result was a collection of stunning visuals — printed, then elevated through KURZ’s digital embellishment technology. With the targeted placement of metallic and holographic effects, each poster became a small work of art: creative, precise, and impossible to ignore.
And where did this collaboration begin? At an epda conference — a meeting place for ideas, creativity, design, and industry — where the right people, partners, and projects come together. Because when good things come together, genuine connections and outstanding work are born.
