It's all about people: Ariane Van Mancius
Back from her first EPDA event, Ariane is sharing her impressions with us
Ariane Van Mancius has just become a new member. We truly appreciate that she is sharing her positive feedback about the community with us:
1. Highlight of being a member of EPDA
I thoroughly enjoyed attending my first EPDA event. It was such an inspiring and welcoming environment, surrounded by like-minded professionals from across our industry. I immediately felt at home, made valuable new connections, and found the talks both insightful and engaging. I’ve already booked my ticket for the next meeting in Porto this October — I’m really looking forward to it! EPDA is a fantastic addition to my professional journey and international network. Bravo, EPDA!
2. Design Inspiration
Inspiration comes at me from all directions — I don’t have one single reference. Cities buzzing with life, hidden corners of shops, a striking article in a magazine, a moment on LinkedIn, a trend I scroll past on TikTok or Instagram... it’s all part of this vibrant flow that feeds my creativity. I love traveling, I love trendshopping, and I’m endlessly curious. My inspiration is a kind of beautiful chaos where everything collides, connects, and forms new ideas.
3. Favorite Creative Tool or Design Gadget
The funny part? I can’t design myself. I studied Hospitality and eventually reinvented myself as a creative entrepreneur. My strength lies in concept and vision — and I rely on talented creatives around me to bring that vision to life.
4. Fun Fact
Not everyone knows this, but I’m a certified fitness instructor! I also love making flower arrangements. On top of that, I’m a proud mom of three kids — including twins born just 1.5 years apart. Oh, and did I mention I can’t design? But I sure know how to lead creative projects!
5. Hobbies or Interests
I love anything hands-on and expressive: making flower arrangements, exploring art, fitness, long walks, and yes — working energizes me too.
6. Favourite Colour Combination
Definitely coral and teal. They’re so different, but when you bring them together, they create this bold and beautiful harmony that I find really energizing.
EPDA has brought fresh connections, global energy, and truly inspiring conversations to my creative journey.
