AI Workshop

AI is omnipresent and we have all started to work with it. During this workshop, a number of member agencies will show us the tools they use and for which purpose. They will also talk about their experiences to better understand the challenges and opportunities of AI technology. Together, we will then discuss how to join forces to benefit best from AI in order to sharpen our profiles. How can we “own” AI for branding to protect our business?

Continue your discussions during our short bus ride to Palacio Marqueses de Malferit right after the workshop.

5.30 pm: Bus takes workshop participants from Veles e Vents directly to “Torres de Serranos”.

SATURDAY, 30 September 2023

Every year in March, Valencia is overturned by the Fallas celebrations, a festival that combines tradition, satire and art. Huge statues fill the plazas and streets of the city. Some as big as a house. They fascinate, amuse and touch their audiences that flock in the thousands to see them – that is until after only a week, because they will then all be burned to the ground.

Who are the people behind these transient works of art? How does the year-long process work from planning, to creating and finally placing and burning a falla? What are the origins? And what role does sustainability play?

We’re invited to take a unique look behind the scenes – in a presentation exclusively prepared and held for us. We’ll meet the President of the Fallas Artists and get hands-on demonstrations in a Fallas workshop to understand how the figures are created and produced. We’ll then take a tour through the museum just next door to learn about the rich history of this annual tradition.

Note: We’ll be visiting a real work shop. So, expect dust and dirt. You may not want to wear your very best clothes.

To digest the morning’s impressions – new friends, many interesting talks and exciting conversations – we’ll end our event by enjoying a light lunch in the city centre!

10.00 am: Bus leaves from Neptuno Hotel
10.15 am: Bus stops at Primus Hotel
11.00 am: Bus arrives at the Museu de l’artista Faller de Valencia
11.00 am: Visit to the Fallas Laboratory & the Museum
12.45 pm: Bus leaves from the museum to take us to the city centre
1.30 pm to 3.30 pm: Lunch at Tagomago Restaurant, Carrer de Salva

PALACIO MARQUESES DE MALFERIT

Calle Caballeros 20-22 46001 Valencia

This former residence of the Marquises of Malferit is the best preserved of all the Gothic palaces in Calle Caballeros. Reformed, externally and internally, over the following centuries, its current appearance is due to the project that the master builder Lucas García Cardona drew up in 1893. The new façade, of a historicist character and linked to Italian Renaissance models, came to consolidate the great transformation carried out in its interior during the second half of the 19th century. L’Iber, the Museum of the tin soldiers, is located on the main floor of the residence. In its rooms you can appreciate the luxury of an old gothic style building together with an immense collection that tells the history of mankind.
