Pentawards
Pentawards was created in 2007 and is a worldwide competition exclusively devoted to packaging design in all its forms. It is open to everybody who is associated with the creation and marketing of packaging. Jean Jacques and Brigitte Evrard, partners in life and in business for more than 35 years, are the founders of Pentawards. They have been epda members from the early beginnings. epda Members Patrick De Grande, Quatre Mains from Belgium, as well as Jane Struk, Depot Branding Agency from Mosow, will join the jury 2020. Recreate Packaging
The Recreate Packaging design competition by Stora Enso challenges students and professional designers globally to create new packaging concepts and innovations based on renewable materials. epda has supported Stora Enso as long-term industry partner and is represented in the jury by Renne Angelvuo, Win Win Design.
Red Dot Design Award
The origins of the red dot design award go back to 1955. Today it is one of the largest and most coveted design awards in the world. epda has cooperated with the red dot award: communication design for many years. Since 2007 epda members regularly represent the packaging design jury.
The Dieline
Created in 2008 the Dieline Awards recognizes the best in consumer product packaging design worldwide. It exists as a way to celebrate innovation and honor excellence in packaging design. An esteemed jury of structural packaging, design, branding, and consumer product experts examine each submission with regards to four key elements: Creativity, Marketability, Innovation, and Execution. Founder Andrew Gibbs has supported the jury of the epda AWARD FUTURE PACKAGING since 2016.
