Brand: RHUM CLÉMENT – CANNE BLEUE, MILLÉSIME 2018
This year, Rhum CLÉMENT has shown great imagination in the creation of the new vintage CANNE BLEUE… LINEA Agency delivers a brand-new experience for this fifth consecutive edition! The most innovative brand of Martinique is transgressive and underground and raises tattooing to the rank of works of art. For the first time, the bottle is entirely covered with a white sleeve with Old School blue ink tattoos. The patterns reveal the universe of Rhum CLÉMENT and show a seamless tattoo combining the local flora to mixology or iconic elements of the distillery. The bottle cap has been customized and offers 5 different patterns. For the launching of this 2018 edition, the bottle is presented in a cotton bag depicting the same pattern… And to go further, temporary tattooing boards have been created in the same style.
Brand: JANUS GIN
JANUS GIN is a collaboration between Linea, the spirit valley designers, and the printers at Litobru. This digitally printed lable of Gin Is a mixture of multicolored gradients, complex illustrations and other visuals. Botanical and mystical elements are visible on both sides to make the experience more impacteful and it also represents gin as this is also a mix of herbs and used mainly to mix alcohol. JANUS GIN is a perfect expression of this new technique as each bottles has their own unique interior design with the same information on the back.
Brand: RHUM KARUKERA – FÛT 65
FÛT 65, a selection of KARUKERA rums was born after a meeting with Luca Gargano. This passionate and imminent rum expert fell under this vintage’s spell. KARUKERA rums created its very first piece of collection from this exceptional cask “favoured by a touch of grace” in Gargano’s own words, FÛT 65 is a top-of-the-range bottle produced in only 209 numbered units. LINEA, the designers from the Spirits Valley, was in charge of the creation that features two fundamental values for the brand: the authenticity of the terroir and the unique skills of the cellar master. A selection of noble and authentic material shows this attachment. Thus, the box is in solid oak and lined in natural cork. The medal is a copper and brass alloy. The straps are in leather. And of course, the bottle is made of crystal. The shape of the box is a reminder of the cask when viewed in cross section. Worked as a display, the bottle is sublimated in its centre, like a treasure.
Brand: MEZCAL ORO DE OAXACA
LINEA, the Agency from the Spirit Valley, settled in the State of OAXACA in Mexico to rework the ORO DE OAXACA range, one of the best known Mescals of the region. The brand identity, the labels and the bottle have been redesigned and offer a more modern look and a premium status. The brand has kept its traditional value and its unique know-how through very specific elements. It refers in particular to the local culture reworking the Zapotec designs with paper strips. Other components highlight the Mescal authenticity and typicity, from various glass finishing elements like the representation of the agave plant on the bottle neck to the name of the House on its foot. As for the bottle, the features are stronger and the strong base softened with rounder shoulders. The ORO DE OAXACA Mezcals challenge their ambitions with a new design which is just as statutory as reassuring.
Brand: COGNAC LARSEN – HYMNE AU VOYAGE (LA PART DES ANGES 2018)
During the 11th edition of La Part des Anges (auction of exceptional Cognacs in favour of associations), Maison LARSEN has unveiled an original piece inspired by its own history. « L’HYMNE AU VOYAGE » is a creation based on the maritime world. the artwork was designed in collaboration with LINEA – the design agency from the Spirits Valley and made by local craftsmen. The bottle is made of mouth-blown glass and recalls the mooring buoys on the Atlantic coast. The carving is made of French oak wood and evokes the frame of a Viking ship.
