Have a look at khdesign‘s recent project URWEIZEN for the German Pfungstädter Brewery!
Since 1831, the family-owned company is performing the highest German brewing art and in 2019 expanded its product portfolio with the special UR-Weizen. The range includes four varieties: light yeast, dark yeast, crystal and the isotonic yeast non-alcoholic.
360 degrees of regionality and sustainability characterize this special wheat beer. The promise of „100 % spelt malt from Hessen“ is underpinned by the exclusive sourcing of raw materials from the region. This is a special guarantee that ensures highest quality and freedom from harmful substances.
Sustainability that is good for the region
This creates an economic cycle that protects the environment, strengthens the regional economy and is therefore good for the region as a whole. The cultivation of barley and wheat by long-standing partner farmers in the immediate vicinity results in short delivery routes and a trustworthy cooperation. The raw materials from controlled, environmentally friendly and sustainable cultivation create transparency and produce ingredients of outstanding quality.
Refreshingly different
The disruptive layout deliberately breaks with the familiar visual patterns of the wheat beer segment and thus underlines the special features of this beer. A pithy yet modern design is guaranteed to catch the eye on the shelf. It is not without reason that the beer advertises with the slogan: For all those who did not yet know that they love wheat beer.
Strikingly Tasty
The name reflects the aim and strongly announces at first sight that this is not standard wheat beer. The bold typography gives the product range its high recognition value and its striking impact on the shelf.
Appealing to the eye
The design appears in four different colours, loud but not obtrusive. The four different varieties are identified by clear colour coding, making it easier for the customer to differentiate at a glance. The colour palette between warm dark brown and the particular secondary colour results in a beer-typical look that invites you to enjoy.
